"My teenager favours my chicken scratch sling carrier of my twenty four carriers. She is generally embarrassed to be seen with me, unless I wear MY CHICKEN SCRATCH SLING carrier. I can't believe how handy the pocket is and how my four month old smiles when he sees it and the tail never gets in my way even though I tie skate laces and chase a preschooler and grade 2er. I love the privacy the tail allows for. The stitching is well done, highest quality, and the material is comfortable."

Favorite gift at baby shower!

"I just bought a Chicken Scratch Ring Sling after being recommended by a friend and it is beautiful.. wonderful craftmanship, soft & pretty fabrics. I recently stopped slinging my 3 year old because I'm pregnant but can't wait to use this when our new baby is born in a few months! :)"

"I opened up my sling this am and I was thrilled. What a work of art. It is lovely. I wore my daughter in a ring sling till she was 18 months and I loved it it I found it very comfortable. My son is a big baby weighing 17 pounds at 3 months. My shoulder was killing me. I had him in your sling all day today without any discomfort. I wasn't sure how I would like the stretch in the denim...It is g reat it makes it so much more comfortable for him and I. I can not stress how great this sling is. I just wish I had this for my daughter. From now on I will never use another brand of sling I am hooked. "

"I got a Nojo baby sling as a shower gift, and I liked the idea but the sling was extremely frustrating to use. I saw someone with a chicken scratch sling, and it was gorgeous and looked so easy! Laura was wonderful to work with... I ordered a custom sling, and it was done so quickly and is just gorgeous! Very well made, easy to use, and much easier than carrying a wiggly baby at your hip without any type of support! I would strongly recommend these. They may be slightly more expensive than some other types, but the extra $ is well spent!"

"All I have to say is that Laura Jane’s sling's ROCK!!!! Like everyone else has said before me her slings are a work of art. Her customer service is beyond anything I have experienced in a long while. I felt as though I was buying from an old country store because of how promptly she responds to emails, pone calls, and the arrival of the slings. And the packaging that the slings come in are out of this world. I did not even want to take them out of the wrapper because it was so beautiful. I bought 2 and love them so much that I bought 2 more a week later. I have used a lot of slings and I know for a fact that these are among the best! Don't even think twice about not ordering from her. I promise you will love your sling. Thanks Laura!!!"

"I LOVE MY CS SLINGS!!! Honestly, you would think that a sling is a sling, but the shoulder design and narrow body makes ChicKen ScRatch slings stand out! My daughter is usually fussy for the first little while in our other sling (trying to get comfy), but I popped her in this one (and yes, I can just “pop” her in with the narrow body!) and she went right to sleep. The unique design makes it easy for her to get comfortable and VERY easy for me to adjust it in just a few seconds. This would be a great “first timer’s” sling, I’m sure! Laura Jane's work is beautiful, and she is amazing to work with! I always get complimented on my CS slings because they are so pretty! If you only have one sling, make it a CS; you will love it too!"

"I am so absolutely thrilled with my Chicken Scratch ring sling!! Buying from Laura is a refreshingly delightful experience. To begin with, she patiently answered (in much helpful detail) all kinds of questions for me. When I finally decided which one I wanted to order, she continued to communicate with me to ensure I got *exactly* what I was hoping for. All of this - even though it was New Year’s Eve! And the Light Brights ring sling is just amazing! As most all of her customers have stated, her slings are truly exemplary! The construction is out-of-this-world amazing. The pocket is spectacular and solves my biggest baby wearing dilemma - how to keep my wallet and keys handy!
