"I've got the original Trekker, with the velcro and hook closure. It's *very* easy to put my one year old daughter on my back (I don't have to lean forward and hold her there while tying anything, as with an Ergo). I think that I personally don't need all the padding in the straps, but that's largely a matter of taste, as I also use a Maya Wrap. Also, it's easy to nurse in it in the front position (just slide an arm out of one strap), and it works pretty well on the side as well (slide arm out of one strap and shift the waistband over)."

"I must say that the weight distribution is very good, but overall I'm very disappointed with this carrier. I've found it quite cumbersome for everyday use and it was quite expensive. The back-carry shown does not work well for us. The versatility was one of the main sell points. Would not buy it again."
